Arron Crook | The Lead
Arron Crook is a Milwaukee native & has been performing music professionally since 2015. Beginning his musical career in Musical Theatre, he's cultivated a stage presence that pulls from his roots. During his studies at MATC, he turned his interests to Jazz music, and has been performing under the Crook & Company name since 2021. Arron has been able to nurture an original and authentic style. mixing a blend of reimagined covers and masterful originals that reflect what Crook & Company is at it's core. With an eclectic mix of R&B, Pop, Soul, Funk, & Jazz, he functions as the Band Lead, Booking Agent, Lead Pianist, Lead Vocalist & Sound Engineer.
Nate Scheurell | The Rhythm
Nate is a perfessional musician from Milwaukee whose creative utilization of loop Pedals separate him from typical solo performers. Nate’s combination of singer/songwriter, R&B, Soul, Jazz and Blues/Rock tones creates a unique appeal that draws interest from people with varying musical tastes. Nate has been performing all over Wisconsin for the past ten years and lives to perform and entertain. Nate joined the Crook & Company team in 2021 and is the resident Lead Guitarist, Vocalist, and Pianist.
William Matthews | The Fills & Frills
Wiliam Matthews (Will Fox) is an exceptional pianist hailing from Milwaukee. Mixing a blend of R&B, Soul, Blues & even more niche music from videogames & media, WIll has carved out his space in the Milwaukee scene over the course of nearly 10 years. Will joined the Crook & Company team in 2024, and has been our jack of trades, utilizing not only Piano, but Keytar, and Auxillary Instrumentation & Purcussion.
Peter Behlmer | The Pocket
Peter Behlmer is a professional musician best known for his advanced drum set ability. His skills cover a wide variety of genres including, R&B, rock, metal, jazz, hip hop, neo-soul, and many more. Currently, he plays in numerous groups throughout the Milwaukee area such as, The Peter Behlmer Experience, The Soul Patrol, The Funk Club Wagon, and of course Crook & Company, to name a few. Peter began playing the drums during high school where he quickly began to receive accolades which launched him into attending the Berklee College of Music and studied drum set performance for 4 years. Joining the Crook & Company team in 2024, Peter has been been drumming in the pocket ever since.
Tlalok Rodrigrez | The Bassline
Tlalok is a bilingual singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Originally a Chicago native, he comes from a long line of musicians dating back to his great-grandfather, a composer from Vicente Guerrero, Mexico. A century later, he keeps the family tradition alive through boleros, bossa novas, and vibrant performances channeling the passion of his ancestors. In addition to his solo work, Tlalok leads and performs in a wide range of musical projects, from intimate jazz ensembles to large, high-energy dance bands spanning soul, disco, and Latin music. Tlalok has joined Crook & Company for high profile shows in 2025/2026 which solidified his place as our resident Bassist.

Our house band covers 95% of most needs when it comes to both public & private events. But sometimes you might want a bit more “oumph” to your annual function, or a bit more of a dynamic flavoring to your wedding.
In such cases, we have you covered! Since we tailor our band configuration to your event, we may bring in some “Extra Company” to back us up! Below are some of our trusted backups who may either cover for the house band, or join us for an occasion!
